Morris D. Kleinknight, 81, Bluffton, passed away at 10:14 p.m. Sunday, April 10, 2022, at St. Vincent Hospital in Kokomo.

He was born July 10, 1940, in Bluffton, to Clendon and Mary Emerick Kleinknight. 

After high school, Morris served his country in the United States Marines. He was one of the few men to serve on the Otter Crew who were some of the first “boots on the ground” in Vietnam. Morris later worked at Corning Glass Works in Bluffton before retiring from Chrysler after 20 years of service.

Morris was also an avid golfer. 

He is survived by his son, Gary Kleinknight; grandsons, Gage Kleinknight and Doug Kleinknight; great-grandchildren, Emmalee Kleinknight and Parker Kleinknight; and two sisters, Bonnie Holmes and Deloris Ely. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and by siblings Charles Kleinknight, Betty King, Bob Kleinknight, Larry Kleinknight and Dick Kleinknight.

In keeping with his wishes, Morris will be cremated with services held at a future date.
