A donation was made this week to the Wells County Food Bank on behalf of Bluffton Regional Medical Center medical staff who chose the charity to receive a gift in honor of National Doctors’ Day late last month.
“We are proud of our medical staff for their commitment to those in need even beyond Bluffton Regional Medical Center walls,” said Thompson. “It is a testament to the depth of care our physicians have for our community.”
The food bank serves Wells County residents in need and is supported solely by financial contributions and volunteers from the community. Residents approved by the Wells County Division of Family Resources are eligible to shop at the food bank once a month for food, paper goods and personal items.
