The Bluffton Lady Tigers dropped a home softball game on Thursday to the Woodlan Lady Warriors 11-0.
The Tigers (2-8) managed just three hits in the game off Woodlan pitcher Abby Horn, which came from Tyrah Shaw, Tressa Renner, and Lily King.
The Warriors started with two runs in the first and one in the second, but exploded for seven in the third to lead 10-0. They added one run in the top of the fifth for insurance to win by the 10-run rule in five innings.
In addition to allowing just three hits, Horn allowed no walks and struck out nine in five innings.
King took the mound for Bluffton and suffered the loss, allowing nine earned runs on nine hits while walking four and striking out one in five innings.
The Tigers will play their next game on Tuesday at Adams Central.
