Criminal Cases
Cameron Douglas Dohrman, 27, rural Bluffton, charged with driving while suspended with a prior conviction, a Class A misdemeanor, entered into a contract to withhold prosecution/pre-trial diversion.
Ordered to successfully complete a driver improvement program recognized by the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles, and pay court costs and probation fees.
While patrolling 100W Feb. 11, a sheriff’s deputy clocked a northbound 2004 Oldsmobile Bravada at 65 mph-55 zone and pulled it over in a business parking lot along U.S. 224 in Uniondale.
During the course of the traffic stop, the deputy discovered that Dohrman’s driver’s license had been suspended for repeat insurance violations. Dohrman told the deputy that he had submitted the proper paperwork to have his license reinstated and believed that it had been.

Preliminary plea of not guilty entered for Aung Thu Oo, 22, Fort Wayne, charged with one count of criminal conversion, a Class A misdemeanor. Bond continued at $1,500. Allison Sprunger appointed public defender.
Oo is charged with participating with a female to allegedly skip scan items at the self-checkout aisle of the Bluffton Walmart Supercenter Oct. 18, 2021.
The total value of the items allegedly skip-scanned was $68.23.

Preliminary plea of not guilty entered for Andre Koker, 42, Fort Wayne, charged with failure to appear in court, a Class A misdemeanor. Bond continued at $1,500. Larry Mock appointed public defender.
Koker was originally charged with possession of marijuana, a Class B misdemeanor, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a Class C misdemeanor, but allegedly failed to appear for a hearing on the matter in Wells Superior Court June 11, 2018.

Brian Santana Rodriguez, 25, Fort Wayne, pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle while intoxicated, a Class C misdemeanor.
Sentenced to 60 days in the Wells County Jail, with all but four days suspended — credited as time served, and placed on probation for 361 days.
Ordered to perform 40 hours of community service, pay all costs associated with his blood test, court costs and probation fees.
As part of a plea agreement, charges of possession of marijuana, a Class B misdemeanor; operating a vehicle with a Schedule I or II controlled substance or its metabolite in his body, a Class C misdemeanor; possession of drug paraphernalia, a Class C misdemeanor; failure to change name or address on driver’s license, a Class C infraction; and speeding, a Class C infraction, were all dismissed.
Rodriguez reportedly told a sheriff’s deputy he was running late for work when the deputy pulled his vehicle over on 100E near 700N Sept. 2 after clocking it at 62 mph-45 zone.
The deputy noted in his report to the court that while he was speaking with Santana, he could smell an odor of burned and raw marijuana emanating from the interior of Santana’s vehicle. When the deputy asked Rodriguez about the odor, Rodrigues allegedly told the deputy there might be drug paraphernalia in the vehicle but he allegedly denied having smoked marijuana for quite some time.
Eventually Rodriguez allegedly admitted to having smoked marijuana the prior night. He allegedly failed field sobriety tests.
During a search of the vehicle, the deputy allegedly found a multi-colored glass smoking pipe with a substance that had the odor and appearance of both raw and burned marijuana in the bowl.

Dillon Leuigi Geninatti, 29, Pennville, violated probation by failing to comply with the counseling requirement set forth during his sentencing hearing and failing to report to his probation officer Jan. 18 and 25.
Ordered to serve 60 days in the Wells County Jail. Credited for six days spent in confinement awaiting disposition of his case.
Upon completion of his term of incarceration, his probation will terminate.
Geninatti was originally sentenced Sept. 8, 2020, on one count of theft, a Class A misdemeanor.
Civil Cases
Marriage of Rachel Irwin and Timothy Irwin dissolved. Her former name of Sexton restored to her.
Marriage of Travis Wayne Sluss and Tia Marie Sluss dissolved.
Wells Circuit Court
Criminal Cases
Juan Carlos Medina Gamboa, 37, Fort Wayne, pleaded guilty to failure to appear in court, a Level 6 felony.
Sentenced to two years in prison with the term of the sentence to be served consecutively with a 180-day term meted in a separate case in Wells Circuit Court.
Credited for spending 132 days in confinement awaiting disposition of his case. Said credit of days are to be considered in assessing good conduct time credit.
Assessed a supplemental public defender service fee of $100 and court costs of $185.
On Jan. 7, 2021, Gamboa was arrested on one count of possession of a firearm by a serious violent offender, a Level 4 felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a Class C misdemeanor. He was released on bond but then failed to appear for a court hearing March 10, 2021.

Four-day jury trial set to commence at 9 a.m. Aug. 29 for Mason Stuart Mounsey, 24, Huntington, charged with rape, a Level 3 felony; sexual misconduct with a minor, a Level 4 felony; sexual battery, a Level 6 felony; criminal confinement, a Level 6 felony.

Tyson Walter, 38, Auburn, pleaded guilty to invasion of privacy with a prior conviction for the same offense, a Level 6 felony.

Sarah Marie Lloyd, 29, Bluffton, pleaded guilty to battery resulting in bodily injury to a child less than 14 years of age, a Level 5 felony.

David G. Lawrence, 56, Bluffton, pleaded guilty to domestic battery with a prior conviction for the same offense, a Level 5 felony.
Sentencing set for 10 a.m. April 7.

Donald J. Gerardot, 42, Bluffton, pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine with a prior conviction for the same offense, a Level 4 felony.
Sentenced to nine years in prison and assessed $185 in court costs.
Credited for 184 days spent in confinement awaiting disposition of his case.
As part of a plea agreement, charges of possession of methamphetamine, a Level 5 felony; unlawful possession of a hypodermic syringe, a Level 6 felony; and possession of drug paraphernalia with a prior conviction for the same offense, a Class A misdemeanor, were all dismissed.
Gerardot was charged with selling methamphetamine to a cooperating individual in July 2021.

Three-day jury trial reset to commence at 9 a.m. May 10 for Matthew D. Englehardt, 38, Bluffton, charged with sexual misconduct with a minor wherein the defendant engages in sexual intercourse with a minor, a Level 4 felony, and three counts of sexual misconduct with a minor, all Level 5 felonies.

Crystal Gayle Grace, 38, Ohio City, Ohio, pleaded guilty to neglect of a dependent resulting in bodily injury, a Level 5 felony, with an habitual offender enhancement, and possession of a narcotic drug, a Level 6 felony. Sentencing set for 1:30 p.m., March 30.

Shawnta Turner, 29, Ossian, pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine, a Level 5 felony, and theft, a Class A misdemeanor.
Sentencing set for 3 p.m. March 31.

Joverr P. Perez, 50, Bluffton, pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine, a Level 5 felony.
Sentenced to three years in prison.
The term of the sentence is to be served consecutively with terms of sentences meted in Adams Superior Court for violating probation from an Oct. 23, 2013, conviction for possession of chemical reagents or precursors with intent to manufacture a controlled substance, a Class D felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a Class A misdemeanor; and a sentence meted in Grant County Circuit Court May 17, 2021, for possession of methamphetamine, a Level 5 felony.
No credit granted for any time served incarcerated awaiting disposition of his case.
Ordered to pay a $250 drug interdiction fee and $185 in court costs.
On Jan. 16 a Bluffton police officer was called to a Bluffton residence after the grandmother of two teenage girls suspected that her granddaughters were exchanging sex for methamphetamine. Perez reportedly left a pair of shoes behind at the residence along with his wallet tucked into one of the shoes. The wallet contained Perez’s driver’s license and several credit cards with Perez’s name on them.
Inside the wallet there was also reportedly two small plastic bags, one containing a green leafy substance that appeared to be marijuana and one containing a white crystalline substance that appeared to be methamphetamine.
