Mary Sue Ruble, 73 of Bluffton, passed away at Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2022, at 11:49 a.m.
Mary Sue was born on September 8, 1948, to Russell and Olive (Freeman) Dalrymple. She graduated from Salamonie Township High School in 1966. She married Rick Ruble on May 25, 1997. She worked at Peyton’s Northern in Bluffton for many years and, most recently, enjoyed her time as a daycare teacher at New Life Christian School in Bluffton.
Mary Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Olive Dalrymple, brother, William Dalrymple, and grandson, Dylan Lee.
Loving survivors include her husband, Rick Ruble of Bluffton; daughters, Angi (Brad) Boxell, Lori (Jeff) Gregg, Staci Walters, and Kari Wood (Susan Vineyard), step-daughter, Jeslynn (Wes) Smith, and stepson, Brody (Cherish) Ruble, as well as several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Mary Sue’s greatest joy in life was being with her family and taking care of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a home daycare provider for many years and was loved and cherished by everyone that she cared for.
Mary Sue’s family will gather privately to celebrate her life at Glancy-H. Brown & Son Funeral Home, located at 203 N Matilda St. Warren, on Friday, Feb. 25, 2022. A funeral service will be held for the immediate family on Saturday, Feb. 26, 2022, with Pastor Doug McClure officiating. Inurnment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Warren at a later date.
