The featured speaker for Ossian Rotary this week will be Molly Hoag, the Health and Human Sciences Extension Educator for Purdue Extension Wells County.
Hoag has been an active member of Citizens Against Drug Abuse of Wells County for the past 21 years and has held the roles of president, vice-president, treasurer, and coordinator, as well as having chaired several subcommittees over the years.
Established in 1988. CADA is a group of citizens that inform, gather, and provide resources to the community for the prevention of drug abuse. CADA will be the focus of Molly’s presentation.
“Molly is passionate about educating the community on substance use prevention and treatment to reduce the stigma associated with addiction and mental health,” said Ossian Rotary Club President Carol Keplar.
Hoag will be sharing information about CADA, including opportunities to get involved in the coalition. Following her presentation will be a question-and-answer period.
