Sondra J. Jones, 72, of Homeworth, Ohio, a former resident of Bluffton, passed away Friday, Jan. 7, 2022, at the Aultman Alliance Community Hospital.
She was born Nov. 3, 1949, to the late Eugene and Margaret (Martin) Savage.
Sondra loved her family dearly and lived her life to the fullest. She was loved by all people that entered her life. She was a selfless person and a great humanitarian. She was a retired bus driver for West Branch and Bluffton Schools. She loved horses and spent many years as a 4-H advisor for Berlin Boots and Saddle 4-H Club. When not spending time with horses she could be found camping, boating or riding 4 wheelers in West Virginia.
Sondra leaves behind to cherish her memories her husband of 51 years, Teddy Jones. They were married March 20, 1970. Also surviving are a daughter, Carrie (Johnnie) Williams; a son, Stephen (Justin) May-Jones; a sister, Michelle (Roger) McGhee; a brother, Robert (Cindy) Savage; a grandson, Zeb Jones; lifelong friends, Tom (Elaine) Woolf, Mike and Donna Chamness, and Rocky and Myra Myrtle; and cousins, Jackie and David Savage. She was beloved by many special friends.
Per Sondra’s request, a cremation has taken place.
There will be no funeral services at this time. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. Friends and family will be notified.
