The Norwell Knights won the Bill Kerbel Invitational in wrestling action on Saturday at New Haven.
The Knights scored 243 points to place first out of 16 teams. Following Norwell in the standings were Homestead with 219 points, and Carroll with 171.5 points.
Eli Johnson was the Knights’ lone champion, winning the 170-pound weight class.
Cayden Smithley (113 pounds), Tyler Luther (195 pounds), and Dalton Tomasek (220 pounds) were all runners-up in their weight classes.
Max Walker (126 pounds), Elijah Behning (152 pounds), and Hudson Kahn (182 pounds) each took third-place finishes.
The Bluffton Tigers placed fourth with 160 points.
Levi Johns and Johnny Cruz finished as champions for the Tigers. Johns won the 106-pound class, and Cruz won the 285-pound class.
Brody Lewis placed third in the 138-pound class, and Levi Kahn placed fourth in the 170-pound class.
Both Norwell and Bluffton will be on the mats again on Tuesday. Norwell will host Leo, and Bluffton will travel to Manchester.
