Dee Anderson, 85, a lifetime resident of Montpelier, died at 11:24 p.m. on Monday, May 29, 2023, at IU Health Blackford Hospital in Hartford City. He was born Sunday, May 15, 1938, in Montpelier. He married Patty S. Brock Monday, Aug. 26, 1957, in Hartford City; she died July 16, 2015.
Survivors include his daughters, Diana Parson, Montpelier, Becky (Monte) Jackson, Montpelier, and Tracy (Jose) Ramirez, Tucson, Ariz.; sons, Barry D. Anderson, Tucson, Ariz., Greg (Sharon) Anderson, Tucson, Ariz., Jerry (Teresa) Anderson, Montpelier, Tim (Gloria) Anderson, Tucson, Ariz., and Ronnie (Jennifer) Anderson, Florence, Ky., Steve Anderson, Tucson, Ariz.; and 18 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, and nine siblings.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Mildred Rogers Kindlesparger; his wife, Patty S. (Brock) Anderson; and one sibling.
Calling will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 3, at the Walker & Glancy Funeral Home, 109 W. Windsor St. in Montpelier. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the I.O.O.F. Brookside Cemetery in Montpelier.
