Pursuant of Indiana Code 26-3-7-16.5(c), producers who made grain deliveries to AGLAND GRAIN, INC., (“Company”) from December 20th, 2018, through March 20th, 2020, may now be eligible for certain reimbursements from the Indiana Grain Buyers and Warehouse Licensing Agency (“Agency”) and/or the Indiana Grain Indemnity Corporation for an accrued financial and/or storage loss. All producers who believe they have a claim to file directly related to the Company grain failure are strongly encouraged to attend this claims hearing on THURSDAY, JULY 2ND, 2020, at 2:00 PM EDT. The hearing will be held in the MERILLAT CENTRE OF THE ARTS BUILDING located on the campus of HUNTINGTON UNIVERSITY at 2303 COLLEGE AVENUE, HUNTINGTON, IN 46750. All hearing attendees should park in LOT B located along LAKE STREET on the west side of campus. A campus map of Huntington University is available on the Agency’s home page at isda.in.gov/grain.htm.

Representatives from the Agency will be available onsite to meet one-on-one from 9:30 AM EDT, until 1:30 PM EDT, the day of the hearing, to help impacted producers prepare documents necessary to file a claim.

All hearing attendees will be required to adhere to all COVID-19 social distancing guidelines. This includes utilizing appropriate face masks, gloves, hand sanitizer, designated walkways, and maintaining at least six (6) feet of distance from other attendees. Due to COVID-19 capacity guidelines, priority entrance will first be given to all producers who have a claim to file with the Agency that is directly related to the Company grain failure.

A live broadcast of the hearing will begin at 2:00 PM EDT, on July 2nd. Potential claimants unable to attend the hearing in person are encouraged to participate via this live broadcast. To help the Agency adhere to all COVID-19 social distancing guidelines, we ask member of the public who are interested in attending this hearing as an observer to also participate via this live broadcast. The access link to the live broadcast will be made available to the public on the Agency’s home page at isda.in.gov/grain.htm at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to the start of the hearing.
