How old are you?
17
What is the funniest thing that happened to you recently?
I honestly can’t think of anything really funny or strange that has happened to me lately.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you choose to go and why?
I would probably choose to go somewhere in Europe just because there are a lot of important historical sites in that part of the world that I would like to visit.
That sounds awesome!
You have found a suitcase containing $1 million. The authorities say it’s yours to keep. What do you do with it?
I would buy a couple of smaller things that I really want and probably save and invest the rest of it.
That’s a great plan! Tell me something about a parent or relative that you find awesome and you hope to accomplish someday?
Something that I think is awesome is both of my parents having good jobs and being able to provide for our family so we can live comfortably.
Glad to hear it. Definitely a good thing.
What do you wish that you knew how to do that you can’t right now?
I don’t really have a reason, but I want to learn how to do a backflip.
That’s a cool thing to be able to do!
What are you proudest of?
My hard work to achieve what I have so far athletically and academically.
Way to go!
Do you own a pet? Tell me about him/her. What kind of pet? What is his names? How did he get his names?
Yes, we have a yellow lab named Buster who is 10 years old. His name was never really significant, he wasn’t named after anything or anyone. I just remember that we were all standing in the kitchen and somehow the name Buster came up and we all agreed on it.
Labs are such good dogs.
Can you tell me a joke?
No, I’m not good at jokes. I have a good sense of humor, at least I think so, but I’m definitely not a jokester.
OK, fair enough.
What’s your favorite class in school and why?
My favorite class is history because there’s so much we can learn from what has already happened, and it’s just the most interesting and engaging subject for me.
Are you involved in school sports, music or other activities? Tell me about them.
Yes, I play football, basketball, and baseball. I enjoy all three and they have been a part of my life forever.
Good for you. You are involved in a lot!
How about outside of school activities?
I play travel baseball in the summer but other than that a lot of my time is focused towards the school sports I am involved with.
What is your favorite game to play and why?
My favorite sports are football and baseball, but I think if I had to choose a favorite I would pick baseball just because it requires a lot of thinking and focus at all times, which is something I enjoy.
Who is one of your friends that makes you laugh all the time?
Max is probably the funniest friend I have. He always has kind of a nonchalant attitude towards most things and everything just kind of rolls off of his back, so he’s fun to be around.
Who is your most academically inclined friend?
My most academically inclined friend is probably Lindsay. She puts in a lot of work and pays attention to the details, which is something that is important in school.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years and how will you get there?
I see myself out of college with a job that I really enjoy and hopefully starting a family.
That’s great! It seems like you have a very bright future ahead of you.
