Bluffton-Harrison Metropolitan School District is partnering with iTown Church to provide a box of groceries for families in the community.

This program is for any family in need — students of the BHMSD school system or not.

Groceries will be handed out at Bluffton High School in the front parking lot at 6 p.m., on Thursday evening. It will be set up to function as a drive through, so participants will get in line and pull through to receive their box of groceries.

Those picking up the food will not have to get out of their cars.

Grocery boxes are limited and are first come, first serve.

“As we navigate through uncertain times and constant changes in our lives, we know that things at home may be getting a little tight financially,” Kyle Reinhard, pastor of iTown Church, said in the announcement, citing “increased challenges” for the reason behind the partnership.
