Gregory A. Frauhiger, 61, of Craigville, passed away Monday afternoon, July 1, 2019, at his residence.

Greg was born in Bluffton March 13, 1958, to Thomas J. and Rose Marie (Moser) Frauhiger. His parents both survive and reside in Bluffton.

He was a 1976 Norwell High School graduate. Greg went on to be a construction weld inspector for the Plumbers & Steamfitters Union Local 403 in California.

Greg had many hobbies including, hiking and river rafting. He enjoyed listening to music, and his love of classic cars, traveling and trying exotic foods.

In addition to his parents, Greg is survived by a son, Trevor (Jill) Frauhiger of Prospect, Ky.; three grandchildren, Anders, Winifred and Ramsey Frauhiger of Prospect, Ky.; three brothers, Doug (Jill) Frauhiger, Kerry (June) Frauhiger, and Kenny (Lynnette) Frauhiger, all of Bluffton; a sister, Deborah (Rob) Moon of Craigville; and his companion of many years, Theresa Hummer.

A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, July 6, 2019, at the Goodwin – Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel in Bluffton. Nile Bucher and Art Ringger will officiate at the service. Receiving of friends will take place from 2 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home on Saturday, July 6, 2019.

Memorials may be given to the World Wildlife Foundation.
