Norwell’s boys’ swimming team traveled to Hartford City Tuesday evening and came home with a lopsided 130-25 win over the Blackford Bruins.

The Knights took first place in all events.

Evan Oakes won two individual events to lead the Knights, taking first place in the 200-yard freestyle in 2:07.37 and winning the 500 freestyle in 5:39.00.

Other individual winners were: Logan Ackley in the 200-yard IM in 2:02.47; Preston Schisler in the 50 freestyle in 25.96 seconds; Duke Wang in the 100 butterfly in 55.72; Trevor Prough in the 100 freestyle in 53.70; Seth Goetz in the 100 backstroke in 1:18.92; and Brandon Runyon in the 100 breaststroke in 1:16.82. Alexander McCabe won the 1-meter diving event with 191.3 points.

Schisler, Ackley, Wang and Prough teamed to win all three of the relay races in the meet. They posted winning times of 1:53.33 in the 200-yard medley, 1:39.75 in the 200 freestyle, and 3:41.48 in the 400 freestyle.
