Stephen ‘Pops’ Mills, 63

Stephen Edwin “Pops” Mills, 63, of Montpelier, passed away at 12:08 a.m. Saturday, May 4, 2013 at his residence. 
He was born on Saturday, Aug. 13, 1949, in Bluffton to Harry Edwin and Eleanor Lavon (Squier) Mills. He married Tina (Daniels) Mills. 
Mr. Mills — “Pops” — was a 1967 graduate of Norwell High School. He retired from JAT in Fort Wayne, where he was a truck driver. He also enjoyed fishing.
He was a former resident of Wells County.
Survivors include a daughter, Katina (Mickey) Patterson of Keystone; a son, Richard (Torree) Mills of Keystone; his wife, Tina (Daniels) Mills of Keystone; and nine grandchildren.
Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home, 109 W. Windsor Street, Montpelier, from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday, May 11.
A service to celebrate his life will be at 6 p.m. Saturday, May 11, at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home with Kevin Smith speaking.
