Ruthann Nusbaumer, 87

Ruthann Nusbaumer, 87, of Keystone, passed away at 10:05 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2013, at her residence.
She was born Sunday, Nov. 22, 1925, in Poneto. She married Cloid W. Nusbaumer on Saturday, Oct. 19, 1946, in Poneto. Ruthann was a 1944 graduate of Liberty Center High School. She was a homemaker and helped with the Nusbaumer family farm all of her married life. Ruthann was a member of the Busy Bee club for over 50 years and a lifetime member of the Poneto United Methodist Church in Poneto.
Survivors include, daughter, Rebecca (William) Edmundson of Machesney Park, Ill.; son, Jerry (Gretta) Nusbaumer of Keystone; daughter, Janice Nusbaumer of Keystone; sister, Marjorie Brewster of Berne; sister-in-law, Ruth Oswalt of Poneto; grandchildren, William W. (Amanda) Edmundson of Rockford, Ill., Carrie (Jeremy) Murath of Rockton, Ill., Aimee (Doug) Paxson of Keystone, Joetta Nusbaumer of Keystone, Jesston (Beth) Nusbaumer of Keystone, Janelle (Zach) Ruble, of Baltimore, Md., Jessica (fiance Matt Caster) Nusbaumer of Keystone; great-grandchildren, Alexander Edmundson, Jacob Murath, Emma Murath, Isabella Murath, Kenzie Paxson, Lillia Paxson, Elijah Paxson, Jenson Nusbaumer and Alaina Nusbaumer.
She was preceded in death by her father Faye E. Oswalt; mother, Nervia (Gustin) Oswalt; husband, Cloid W. Nusbaumer; brother, Gustin Oswalt; sister, Joan McFarren; brother, Glendon Oswalt; sister, Vera Alfeld; brother, Charles Oswalt; and great-granddaughter Madyson Murath.
Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home 109 W. Windsor St. Montpelier Friday, Aug. 16, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, one hour prior to the service.
A service to celebrate Ruthann’s life will be at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, with Pastor Roy Nevil and Pastor Ted Stanton officiating. Interment will follow in the Stahl Cemetery in rural Bluffton.
