Patricia Ann Hapner, 75
Patricia Ann Hapner, 75, of Uniondale, passed away Friday, June 28, 2013, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.
She was born in Jay County Aug. 15, 1937, to Chester and Nile (Hoover) Foltz. She was married to Albert Hapner.
Patricia owned a hair salon in Fort Wayne for more than 40 years and was a member of Living Faith Missionary Church in Yoder where she taught Sunday School and VBS. She loved quilting and was a legendary cook.
Survivors include two children, Katrina Hapner of Fort Wayne and Curtis (Bethany) Hapner of Uniondale; a stepdaughter, Robin (George) Price of Fort Wayne; four brothers and sisters, Kay Melick of Fort Wayne, Diana (Larry) Frye of Plymouth, Barbara Myers of Huntsville, Ala., and Marvin Foltz of Geneva; and two grandchildren, Whitney Hapner and Samantha Price.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Phyllis Foltz, and two brothers, Meritt Foltz and Donald Foltz.
Calling hours are 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Living Faith Missionary Church, Yoder. Funeral services will be held there at 1 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in the Twin Hill I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Pennville.
Preferred memorials are to the Alzheimer’s Association.
