June ‘Junie’ Ann Shrock, 77

June “Junie” Ann Shrock, 77, passed away at 4 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, at her residence.
She was born on June 1, 1935 in Keystone to Leslie J. and Irene E. (Kean) McIntire. Both parents preceded her in death.
Junie graduated from Chester Center School in 1953. She married George Albert Shrock on Nov. 20, 1954, at Grace United Methodist Church in Hartford City. He preceded her in death on July 21, 2006.
Junie was a homemaker, wife and mother. She was a member of the Friends of Five Point School.  Family was a big part of her life and she enjoyed crocheting. She also had enjoyed genealogy for the past 25 years.
She and George had summered for 40-plus years at Lake Chapman in Warsaw.
Junie will be sadly missed by her daughters, Debra A. (Bruce) Althouse of Hartford City, Joni A. Shrock (companion, Monte Terlizzi) of Hartford City, Jeni A. Shrock of Hartford City; a son, Rick A. (Missy) Shrock of Hartford City; her grandchildren, Darren W. (Stacey) Fuller, Marty Pryor Jr., Megan (Ryan) Ray and Haleigh Shrock; and her great-grandchildren, Darren W. Fuller Jr., Chandler Wise, Makyla Pryor, Brenton Ray and Aryanna Ray.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, at the Keplinger Funeral Home, 509 N. High St., in Hartford City with Chaplain Don Miller of New Hope Hospice officiating.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, and from 12 to 2 p.m. Sunday at Keplinger Funeral Home.
June will be cremated and her cremains will be buried at the Hartford City Cemetery at a later date.
Memorials may be made to donor’s choice.
