Jane Greene Miller, 83

A former resident of Wells County, Jane Greene Miller, 83, passed away Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at The Cedars in Leo.
Born in Owensboro, Ky., Jane worked as a medical records librarian with Owensboro-Daviess County Hospital and the University of Louisville Pathology Department. She attended Brescia College and Michigan State University and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bluffton.
She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, sister, friend and had a loving heart for the welfare of others.
Surviving are her son, Jacob Miller III of Chicago; a daughter, Lissa Page (Jeffrey) Miller Koenig of Fort Wayne; two granddaughters, Page and Brooke; and two sisters, Meta Jo Spurrier of Owensboro, Ky. and Janis Greene of Jeffersonville.
Jane was preceded in death by her husband, J. Thomas Miller Jr., M.D.; her parents, Roy B. and Alice (Houchen) Greene; and a sister.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 24, at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 E. Dupont Road, with calling  one hour prior. Calling also Wednesday, Jan. 23,  from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Deacon’s Fund at the First Baptist Church of Bluffton.
