Mary Patricia Eisaman, 92

Mary Patricia Eisaman, 92, of Bradenton, Fla. passed away Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014, at her home.
Mary was born Oct. 1, 1921, in Beaverdam, Ky. to Glen and Daphene Woosley.
They moved to Gas City in 1922, where she later married Jay Walter DeVore and they started their family. The DeVore family of six moved to Bluffton in 1957 when Jay was offered a job with Franklin Electric. After Jay’s death in 1962, Mary worked at the Caylor-Nickel Clinic for the cardiology department until her retirement in 1975. Mary and Dr. Jack Eisaman were married in October 1972, and moved to Columbia City. They enjoyed winters together in Bradenton, Fla. Later in life, Bradenton became her permanent home with husband James Hibbs.
Mary filled her family’s world with love and opened her arms to her stepchildren, their children and grandchildren. She was an example of the world as it should be; a world full of selfless, loving relationships.
Mary is survived by three children, Glen W. DeVore (Peggy) of Fort Wayne, Elaine K. Johnson (Scott) of Domestic, and Dennis L. DeVore (Judy) of Garrison, Ky., and a daughter-in-law, Jill DeVore; along with three stepchildren, Jyanthi Eisaman of Arkansas, Larry Hibbs (JoAnne) of Florida, and Gary Hibbs of Florida.  In addition she is survived by 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Mary was preceded in death by her sister Marie Brunner, husband Jay W. DeVore, husband Dr. Jack L. Eisaman, husband James Hibbs and son Stephen Jay DeVore. A service to celebrate Mary’s life will be held Friday, Sept. 19 at 2 p.m. at the Thoma/Rich, Lemler Funeral Home. Pastor Mark Dauterman will officiate. Calling hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and starting at 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Bluffton.
