Edgar M. Moyer, 89, of Noblesville, passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2013, in Noblesville.
He was born March 25, 1924, in Indianapolis, to Edgar Moyer and Daisy Strome Moyer.
Ed was an inspector for Naval Avionics. He proudly served his country as an Air Force pilot during World War II. He was a member of the Indiana National Guard and was a Mason.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Moyer; three sons, John (Mary Jo) Moyer, Mark (Terri) Moyer and Ron (Susie) Moyer; two daughters, Kim (Bob) Pace and Cindy (Jim) Spivey; and 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Kim and Bob Pace are former residents of Liberty Center.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Vivian Kelly and Gladys Gentry; a great-granddaughter, Allie Pace; and his stepmother, Anna Moyer.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 13, at the Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan St., Noblesville. A graveside service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, at Crownland Cemetery, 1776 Monument St., Noblesville.
