Carole J. Isch, 72

Carole J. Isch, 72, rural Bluffton, passed away at 1:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, at Swiss Village in Berne.
She had been battling cancer since April of 2005.
Born in Wells County, she graduated from Berne French High School in 1958. She was a homemaker, secretary at Riverside Warehouse for many years and a mail clerk at Caylor-Nickel for five years.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She never met a stranger and was very much a “people person.”
She was born Feb. 2, 1940, to Raymond A. and Charlotte (Sprowl) Kipfer.
She married Al H. Isch in Adams County on Nov. 22, 1959, and he survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Vicki (Tim) Fiechter of Bluffton and Jill (Doug) Frauhiger of Bluffton; a son, Burt (Karlene) Isch of Francesville; a brother, Ken (Judy) Kipfer of Bluffton; and seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death was a brother, Rayme Kipfer, who died in 1944.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Life Community Church at 428 S. Oak St. in Bluffton with Nile Bucher officiating. Calling will be from noon to 8 p.m. Monday at the Life Community Church and one hour prior to the service at the church.
Burial will be at the Apostolic Christian Cemetery.
