Anita S. Breeding, 63

The sister of a Bluffton man, Anita S. Breeding, 63, Plymouth, passed away at 1:18 p.m. Friday, April 12, 2013, at her home, hand in hand with her two daughters.
Anita was born Feb. 25, 1950, in Plymouth, to Guy, Jr. and Marjorie (Yockey) Breeding. She was a graduate of Plymouth High School, in the Class of 1968.
She lived and worked in the area her entire life.
Anita spent the largest part of her working years at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center (Holy Cross Parkview Hospital), followed by Electric Specialties and the Little Trailer Company. Her passion in life was her family, loving them in the sweetest ways. Anita’s smile was gentle, contagious, and remarkable to many. She enjoyed a good laugh and found peace and satisfaction in the simple things.
Anita is survived by her daughters, Deborah (Tom) Traversa of Walkerton and children Derek, Emily, and Sarah, and Amanda Norris (friend Kenneth Yung) of Plymouth and children Carrie, Sophie, and Keaton; her sisters, Phyllis (Noel) Hawley and Barbara (Bob) Craft, both of Plymouth; her brothers, Richard (June) Breeding of Plymouth, the Rev. Lyle (Pat) Breeding of Bluffton, and Keith (Nancy) Breeding of Donaldson; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Kayla, and her parents, Guy Jr. and Marjorie.
Calling hours are Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Van Gilder Funeral Home, 300 W. Madison St., Plymouth. Services there are Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Lyle Breeding, Anita’s brother, officiating. Burial will be in New Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth.
