After a week of being flooded by TV commercials, an occasional phone call and e-mail after e-mail, we’re just hours away from a historic primary election that has the nation watching Indiana.
We would like to thank the Bluffton High School junior and senior parents who worked diligently for many weeks to make this year’s After Prom party a huge success.
Hard Times Hit Homeowners and Indiana suffers as good jobs disappear, mortgages balloon, people slip down the ladder and face eviction from their homes by sheriff sales. Unless one is born into wealth, one must work. And the types of jobs people need to be secure for homeowners, are disappearing.
I am writing about the article written about Steven Harris taking his wife’s life on May 6th.
Now is the time to say “thank you” to a child care provider. Friday, May 9th, has been designated as Provider Appreciation Day. This is a time to publicly thank a child care provider for the important job that they do. Child care providers have a vital impact on children’s development, as well as having a great responsibility to their health and safety. If this day slips by, I hope you will choose another day to say a special thank you.
I was on the Honor Guard for three years then elected Sgt. at Arms for the last two years.
After I received an invitation to attend one of the three Republican Platform Hearings, a Republican tradition in Indiana dating back to 1856, I travelled to the REMC Building in Indianapolis yesterday afternoon to attend the second hearing.
Justin Peeper was right on with his editorial April 15 regarding those who serve in our Wells County Dispatch Center. And the same could be said for other dispatch centers as well.
