With the passage of a $27.8 billion two-year Indiana state budget last week, legislators handed out small increases for local schools, and even a reduction for one Wells County public school district.
Under the approved budget, the Bluffton-Harrison Municipal School District will receive a 0.45 percent cut in state funds for 2010 and a 2.91 percent decline for 2011.
