Mayor puts building code enforcement at forefront in ‘State of the City’ address

Bluffton Mayor Ted Ellis says there’s a lot of good things in Bluffton and Wells County. During his “State of the City” address Wednesday afternoon, Ellis took aim at one of the problems: A lack of building code enforcement.
Ellis said he would ask the Bluffton Common Council to put together a mechanism for building inspection and enforcement of state building codes on or before Jan. 1 of next year.
